2012 Toyota Camry Edmonton Review
Today I’m excited to present to you – The new 2012 Toyota Camry.
This vehicle debuts a bold, sophisticated new design, with a more spacious interior, improved driving dynamics and an even quieter ride than ever before. With class leading safety and fuel economy, this is the best Camry ever made. And at today’s lower pricing, an incredible value.
The Camry comes in three trim levels: The well-equipped LE starting at just $23,700; the sporty SE starting at $26,950; and the luxurious XLE starting at $29,900. Each is available with a revised 2.5 liter four cylinder engine that offers 178 horsepower while only consuming 5.6 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers of high-way driving. The SE and the XLE models are also available with a more powerful 3.5 liter V6 that has 268 horsepower while only consuming 6.4 liters per hundred kilometers of high-way driving.
I really like what they have done aesthetically to the interior and the improved connectivity with your mobile devices. High-grade materials have been selected throughout the interior and stitching on the instrument panel soft padding and matching stitching elsewhere, help create a sense of luxury, while subtle changes to seat locations, dash and door pillars, improved interior space and visibility. The LE and XLE models interior is a two-tone effect in ivory or gray, in cloth or leather respectively. The SE comes in cloth or leather in black. Plus, all new 2012 vehicles we sell at Gateway Toyota get a complimentary set of all-season floor mats that will help protect the interior.
This car is smooth, super quiet, tight, it handles superbly in corners as do all the different models. These all have the new electronic power steering. It’s very responsive and can give you a great feel for the road. All models are now equipped with bluetooth connectivity. This is easy to pair – will now automatically transfer your entire phone book – and it sounds great. It allows you to avoid the distracted driving ticket.
The standard audio system has a 6.1 inch screen and six speakers. The screen displays the energy monitor and fuel consumption data and in the XLE functions as the display for the back up cam. There’s a multi-directional control pad that acts like a mouse to control the various functions. The USB and auxiliary connections allow full connectivity between your iPods and the vehicle’s in dash display screen. You also have three free months of XM satellite radio. There are two twelve-volt accessory connectors at your disposal. And the sound system in this particular car is the JBL GreenEdge system which has unbelievable sound. The SE model also comes with unique paddle shifters.
