The 2015 Toyota Yaris has been redesigned with what Toyota called a ‘more emotional design’. This revolutionary redesign marks the first time in the brand’s history that Toyota’s European Product Planning Department and Research & Development Division have been working together to create a vehicle that will surpass Europe’s borders. This is also notably the first time that Toyota Motor Europe has implemented Akio Toyoda’s Global Vision from 2011.
Toyota’s global vision to meet the wants and needs of consumers around the world resulted in more freedom for research and development. With more than 84% of the Yaris models produced in France due for export, 12% are expected to be exported to North America. This means that Toyota Europe will take a leading role in the production of compact cars. Their strategy is simple: allow for more research and development freedom around the world to be able to meet customer needs.
Distinct and defined, the 2015 Toyota Yaris proves to evoke a response from the driver. The goal was to draw a connection between the customer’s mind and heart. For instance, the front fascia features a cross-shaped structure while the rear end features a redesigned bumper. Inside the cabin, the 2015 Yaris has been redesigned to improve driving pleasure and passenger comfort with an emphasis placed on the quality of materials. Performance enhancements include a significantly improved suspension, more efficient handling, as well as cabin sound insulation for a more enjoyable journey. The 2015 Toyota Yaris will be equipped with the proven 1.5L engine.
