Fortune Magazine has named Toyota as the top World’s Most Admired Motor Vehicle Company. To top it off, Toyota has also been named the 29th World’s Most Admired Company in any Industry.
This yearly recognitions is done by the Hay Group, which asks respondents to select the 10 companies they admire most from a list made up of companies that rank in the top 25 per cent in the previous year’s survey.
Toyota blew the competition away by ranking number one in seven of the nine criteria – people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, financial soundness, long-term investment, quality of products/services and global competitiveness.
