Introducing the 2016 Toyota Tacoma: A Stunning Powerful Beast!

2016 Toyota TacomaThe all-new 2016 Toyota Tacoma was recently revealed, and with a rebuild inside and out, including a new engine, transmissions, suspension and design, this tough truck is a spectacular beast.

Starting from the ground up, high strength steel has been added to the Tacoma’s frame for enhanced rigidity and overall strength while ultra-high strength steel was incorporated into the body shell through an innovative hot stamping procedure which minimizes weight.

The suspension has been fine-tuned for both a smoother on-road ride and increased off-road capability to keep up with the needs of active drivers who tackle a variety of terrains.

The 2016 Tacoma truck will be powered by a 2.7-litre four-cylinder engine and an all-new, segment-first, 3.5-litre Atkinson cycle V6 engine outfitted with Toyota’s D-4S technology, featuring both direct and port fuel injection.

Both engines will be matched to a new six-speed automatic transmission with electronic shift providing fast and easy shifting. The V6 engine also has the option to be paired with a new six-speed manual transmission. There is no question that this new powertrain has created the most powerful and fuel efficient Tacoma ever.

A bold upper grille and taller, extra muscular hood makes for an aggressive front end while the Tacoma’s back end will include a new locking tailgate that accentuates its wide stance and resilient image. Also, the tailgate will now have an easy lowering feature, allowing it to slowly retract and preventing it from slamming down.

An assortment of premium features will be available, including Qi wireless charging, smart key with push-button start, power moonroof, blind-spot monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and more. To enable off-road enthusiasts to capture their adventures in action, a GoPro® mount located near the rear-view mirror will come standard on every new Tacoma.

The all-new Tacoma will be available in four trim levels in both 4×2 and 4×4: SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road and Limited. The TRD Off-Road trim will feature a Multi-Terrain Select system that allows drivers to select different types of terrain, such as loose rock, or mud and sand, for maximum traction.

We simply cannot wait until the 2016 Toyota Tacomas start landing!
